of the Stanley Market.
During WWII, the Commonwealth soldiers at Stanley fought until the last minute and surrendered to the Japanese on the Christmas evening of 1941.
Lots of heroes, who lost their lives in the line of duty, were buried at the Stanley War Cemetery.
You can visit the cemetery to salute the heroes and enjoy a good view of Stanley Peninsula.
